ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Third level qualification ? minimum Level 5 on NFQ ? in Social
Care or related discipline ? see job description for details of
acceptable related disciplines
* Availability to work varying shifts including early, late, waking
night shifts and sleepovers
* An understanding of the nature of homelessness and the needs of
people experiencing homelessness
* An ability to work in a service where clients have multiple
complex needs
* A good understanding of the harm reduction model
* A good working knowledge of relevant local services
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Good conflict resolution skills
* A commitment to preventing and managing challenging behaviour
* A commitment to working from a trauma-informed perspective
* An openness to change
DESIREABLE CRITERIA
* Full clean driving license
